1.32.2 π¦ Sunday Links... Student Run Classrooms, Shark Skin Aircraft, Rogue Waves, Chinese Inventions
Hello again! I've got another seven fun often quirky STEM/STEAM links for you today. Starting with a plane design that mimics shark skin. And if you're a teacher or parent, there's an article about what happens when students run a classroom. Plus articles about rogue wave (which actually are a very interesting and rare phenomenon), ten inventions from ancient China, and how depression affects the networks in our brain. The neatest and weirdest link, though, has to be the sounds Pando makes. Who's Pando? A single stem aspen tree that has sprouted 47,000 trees, spans 106 acres, and weighs 13.2 million pounds. It's also believed to be at least 9000 years old. Thank you for reading today!
